PIA Announces Call for Spring Award Nominations

Mike Becker Announces His Resignation as CEO of PIA

PIA CEO, Mike Becker, has resigned to accept a position outside the insurance industry, which will be announced separately at a later date. He will continue as PIA’s CEO for an extended interim period to ensure a smooth transition. The PIA Board has formed a search committee, led by PIA Immediate Past President Gerald Hemphill, to identify a successor.

Bill to Repeal FIO Reintroduced in Senate

PIA is pleased by the reintroduction on May 18 of one of our top priorities for 2023, S. 1694 the “Federal Insurance Office Abolishment Act” by Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).
