Countless associations on both sides of the big issues that face independent insurance agents, bring their arguments to members of Congress. PIAPAC supports candidates for federal office and elected officials who support the independent insurance agency system—period.

The Political Process Matters

Contributions to PIAPAC enable PIA National to support members of Congress who are pro-business and pro-independent agents. Advocacy is about educating policymakers on the issues. Before voting or taking a position on legislation, members of Congress need to hear the position of PIA National and our independent agents.

Building and maintaining relationships is an essential part of these advocacy efforts. Understanding the independent insurance agency system is the first step to supporting and expanding our industry. Staying silent on the issues important to independent agents is not an option.
