Friends and Colleagues Mourn the Loss of Andrew C. Harris, Sr.

It is with profound sorrow that we note that Andrew C. Harris, Sr., former PIA National President (2012-2013), passed away on Jan 22, 2024.
It is with profound sorrow that we note that Andrew C. Harris, Sr., former PIA National President (2012-2013), passed away on Jan 22, 2024.
Harris made a significant impact on the insurance industry over the course of his 48-year career. He served as president of PIA of New Jersey from 1998-99, and then as president of PIA National from 2012-13. He then continued to serve on the PIA National Executive Committee for an additional ten years as an advisor to PIA National presidents.
Andy’s positive influence on PIA and its members cannot be overestimated. He received numerous industry awards from insurance agency associations and insurance companies, including: PIA of New Jersey’s Professional Insurance Agent of the Year award in 1996; and PIA National’s Presidential Citation in 2023.
Andy’s warmth, wisdom, and leadership will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched.
